The area has been identified as an Urban Reserve (an area reserved for future urban development) since the 1960's and is identified in the Fraser Valley Regional District's (FVRD) Regional Growth Strategy (RGS) as an area of future settlement. \n\n\n\nTickets to this event are limited!\n\n \n\n\nCHRIS HARTMAN\n\nVice President\, Development\n\nPolygon Homes \n\n\n\nChris Hartman joined Polygon Homes in late 2017 as Vice President\, Development responsible for the development of our 1400 acres in South West Mission as a master-planned community.\n\n \n\nIn addition to our Mission lands\, Chris has developed master-planned urban and resort communities across Canada:\n\n\n Urban communities include UniverCity at SFU's Burnaby Mountain campus\, Heritage Woods in Port Moody (for ParkLane Homes)\, and the Riverside community in Ottawa. \n Resort communities include Panorama Mountain Village in the East Kootenays (for Intrawest) and The Rise (in Vernon).\n\nBefore joining Polygon\, Chris worked for other local well-established development companies (ParkLane Homes\, Intrawest\, and SFU Community Trust) and was Chief Executive Officer for the Tsawwassen First Nation Development Corporation.\n\n\n\nChris is on the Board of Directors for the TTQ Economic Development Corporation of the Douglas First Nation\, and has served on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Home Builders Association (National\, BC and Ontario).\n\n \n\n\n\nSPOTLIGHT SPEAKER:\n\nCommunity Futures North Fraser helps small businesses and entrepreneurs in our community.
