Begin a unique “get to know you” activity that allows the group to break down barriers between the intergenerational group and establish norms for the rest of the workshop

Team Building Activity |
Activity designed to break down barriers and have participants come together to motivate each other and communicate effectively to accomplish a specific task

Leadership Wheel |
Reflective activity that explores different leadership styles and provides language for each participant to speak of themselves as a leader, and develop strategies to work with others

Local Issues Module: Community Mapping |
Participants map out the “Hot Spots” and “Trouble Zones” in their community, identifying local issues they can address in their action plan

Local Issues Module: Issues Web |
Helps depict how all issues are connected, and how the ripple effect of 1 small action can make a world of difference.

Action Planning |
Encourages participants to think about the changes they would like to make as individuals or a group and the capacity they already have to make this a reality |
